Come celebrate Back to Church Sunday with us!

On September 15, we are having a special day to celebrate Back to Church Sunday! Back to Church Sunday is the third Sunday of September every year and focuses on coming back together to Worship God. Our church is inviting those around us - friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, etc. - to join us for this special day.

We will be focusing on Hope through special songs and a brand new sermon series, Finding Hope to Overcome. In this series, we will look out how to overcome anxiety, division, and the uncertainty that come with an election year. We are going to focus on Jesus and the hope he provides starting on September 15. We would love for you to join us!

What to expect?

We will start at 11:00 a.m. with a welcome and opening prayer from our pastor. After that, we will have a singing service that focuses on Hope. We will sing songs as a church to worship Jesus.

After singing, there will be a message on hope from our pastor to start the new sermon series. At the conclusion of the sermon, there will be a time of response where you'll have the chance to respond to the message that was presented.

The service will last roughly an hour.

But I...

  • Haven't been to church in a while... No worries! There is no better time to return than now! We would be delighted to have you join worship at Red Oak.

  • Don't know what to wear... Not a problem! You'll see some people in shirts and jeans and others in collared shirts and khakis or dresses. We aren't sticklers. We would rather you come as you are than to stay home trying to find the perfect outfit!

  • Don't know anyone... You will by the time you leave! We are a friendly bunch who are happy to see people when they come to church. You may not know anyone when you show up, but you'll know several by the time you leave. One way to fix this is to "Plan your Visit"! This allows us to prepare for you and have someone designated to help you while you're here!

  • Go to another church... That's terrific! We do not want to "steal" another church's member, but we would love for you to celebrate God's goodness and mercy with us anyhow. If not, we pray the service you choose to attend is blessed by God.

  • Have more questions... That's great! We would love to answer any questions you have. You can use the "Get in Touch" page or email our pastor directly at dustynplewis@gmail.com !
